Air Stewardess...

A wonder job. Get to travel and get paid at the same time. Last Saturday, I saw a vacancy as an air stewardess which requires minimum height of 156cm. At last, an airline company that would accept a person my height (OK, you know my height. I know I'm short but I'm proud of my height) There aren't many airlines that requirement is lenient. I have thought of trying out the interview. So I asked Seng Yu, an air stewardess, about the details of being one. The packages are interesting, but I think I'm going to wait for the next round of interview. Ain't it wonderful, getting to travel without paying and yet being paid for it. I love to travel. Unfortunately for my height, or else I would have been air stewardess a long time ago and I don't have to waste my time studying so much and being so frustrated with my current company. I may not be ale to be an air stewardess, but I will try out the interview no matter what. Like everyone said to me, if you never try, there will never be a hope and a chance. OK OK, I will try, will try for every opportunity that I have. HAHA... All the best to me ;)

Are we Malaysians really that friendly?

When I was in my transit to LA from Bangkok, I met a guy from Afghanistan. Well, we talked we asked bout where we are from then he said he knew a few friends from Malaysia as well. He said his friends were nice, Malaysians are very nice. Then I said: 'So you think Malaysians are friendly?' 'Ya, how did you know?' 'Well, because I have heard people talking about it.' But how come me, as a Malaysian did not feel the same? I think I know why. Let me tell you. Did you notice that whenever we queue up at any counter to pay out items (food, groceries, anything) have we ever hear the cashier said 'Hello, how are you?'. We could hardly get any smile too.
