CNY...

...is in 2 weeks time. Prepared everything you needed? Bought new clothes?

I guess this year I might have a low-key celebration on CNY. Nothing happen, just feel like staying at home if possible. Of course having reunion with families is a must but the rest of the days? Reunion with friends I perhaps if anyone would call me. Or else, you will know where to find me ;)

Anyway, wishing everyone a prosperity new year. Gong Xi Fa Chai... 恭喜發財。。。

This is the headline for one of the news in The Star newspaper today under Metro North section. This is the story: PENANG: A stillborn baby boy was found dumped at a toilet by a Nepalese general worker in Komtar here. The worker was about to mop the toilet floor when he noticed a black plastic bag inside at about 10am yesterday. He became suspicious as he was carrying it outside. He then called his supervisor who contacted a security guard. The latter opened it up and saw a baby with its umbilical cord still attached. Are we Malaysians really that friendly?

When I was in my transit to LA from Bangkok, I met a guy from Afghanistan. Well, we talked we asked bout where we are from then he said he knew a few friends from Malaysia as well. He said his friends were nice, Malaysians are very nice. Then I said: 'So you think Malaysians are friendly?' 'Ya, how did you know?' 'Well, because I have heard people talking about it.' But how come me, as a Malaysian did not feel the same? I think I know why. Let me tell you. Did you notice that whenever we queue up at any counter to pay out items (food, groceries, anything) have we ever hear the cashier said 'Hello, how are you?'. We could hardly get any smile too.
