"NO PLASTICS BAGS" on Mondays, then Tuesdays, Wednesdays and some even on Saturdays and Sundays. This is our government's effort to help reducing plastic bags and to save our environment. I do agree on this campaign but if we only think about reducing plastics bags and use paperbags especially for fast food chains, then we are not entirely saving our environment. Paperbags, what is the main source when it comes to paperbag? I do not really know how does a paperbag produced. But when we talk about paper, first thing comes to my mind is TREE! Yes, it's tree. So, do we have to chop down more trees to produce more paperbags in order to use less plastic bags? I see now that woven bags are getting more popular among us. This is very good. Reusable, reduce-able and recyclable. I love woven bags. In fact, I love paperbags all along. I keep nice paperbags and woven bags. I can use them again and again without worrying that I will contaminate our environment. When we are trying

True Love

Image
You asked me : 'Is our love true love?' What is true love ? How do you consider a love is a true love? I have a lot of questions in life that I cannot answer. So I don't believe in true love. Yes! I don't believe. I have met a lot of love in my life. Puppy love, fake love, rebounded love, sacrificed love, real love, lasting love... And I met a lot of failure love in my life too. So do you think I still believe in true love? Why I don't believe? There's no perfection in our life. I only know true love is from GOD, and our parents. That is true love that I believe in. What do you think about true love ?

13 hours waiting

Another long hours of waiting to go home...and I can't wait to be back home. 40 hours and I only slept for less than 10 hours. I miss my bed...oh my bed, my pillow, my blanket, and my baby pillow. NO...my baby pillow is not those smelly, full of saliva, kind of pillow. My baby pillow is new.... Anyway, not writing this to talk about my pillow. For the past 3 weeks, traveling half the globe, experiencing new things, it's AWESOME!! Although, I would say I don't see much there, at least it's something I won't forget. I will definitely going to the States again but of course not anytime soon. It may be 10 years later or more, or maybe near. The Flight 8 changes of flight to and fro. 40 plus hours of total flight . What do you think? The Weather When I first reach LA, I was like...oh no...why is this place so cold. I was shivering all the way from International terminal to another terminal where I have to wait for my other flight. Before we head to U

Going home soon...

...and it's very soon. After 2 and a half weeks of staying in the States, when I finally able to enjoy more at San Jose, I have to go home. Too soon, but the whole journey was incredibly relaxing for me. At least I got to run away from the hustle rustle of my job. Although it will be a long break soon, at least now I'm not working. Too much problem occur and it's someone I don't want to handle right now. I'm too stress and my gray hair are countless right now. Anyway, the weather here is nice with a bit of icy wind piercing through my skin. But it's very nice. Next time I travel long distance, I want to experience snow though I can't imagine how I will survive. My lips chipped, skin too dry, and I'm in a mess. I can't wait to go home too. Can't wait to meet baby Yi Xuan and her brother (lil brat) Kai Xuan. But on my job.......

Delayed!

Here I am at Denver, Seattle airport on my transit to San Jose and my flight is delayed! It's 8.10pm. It's already late to reach there and I have to be delayed again. Of my whole tripped here, this is the first time I'm being delayed after a few flights and transits. I have waited 10-12 hours of waiting, and going to have another 13 hours of waiting for each transit flights. Most people will definitely feel it's tiring. Well, it's not for me but it's definitely boring. Slept in airport terminal over-day and overnight, it's one good experience. The world is not that scary after all. I can go on backpacking (if I have the cash flow) ;) Austin temperature: 29 degree C Denver temperature: 20 degree C San Jose temperature: 14 degree C !!! Ok. I'm going to experience some cold shock when I arrive San Jose later. When I was in LA on the first night I reach USA, the temperature was 13 degree C! I was not prepared for it and I only had a T shirt, a sweater

Are we Malaysians really that friendly?

When I was in my transit to LA from Bangkok, I met a guy from Afghanistan. Well, we talked we asked bout where we are from then he said he knew a few friends from Malaysia as well. He said his friends were nice, Malaysians are very nice. Then I said: 'So you think Malaysians are friendly?' 'Ya, how did you know?' 'Well, because I have heard people talking about it.' But how come me, as a Malaysian did not feel the same? I think I know why. Let me tell you. Did you notice that whenever we queue up at any counter to pay out items (food, groceries, anything) have we ever hear the cashier said 'Hello, how are you?'. We could hardly get any smile too. What happened to the 'SMILE WHEN YOU SERVE' campaign gone? It was just a momentary thing. Nowadays I always see sour face around. Well, I wouldn't say EVERY cashier is like that, some are, I appreciated them, friendly and with courtesy to serve. But how many do we actually see this? I wa

Why are we not like them?

I have found this article in www.yahoo.com.sg and it seems a little funny on how un-gracious WE Malaysians are. Why are we not educated in that way instead of being selfish and being ... corrupted? SINGAPORE : Singaporeans may be more conscious of the need to clear their plates at hawker centres but are still not showing enough courtesy on the roads, according to a graciousness survey conducted earlier this year by the Singapore Kindness Movement. Some 1,000 people were polled in the survey which is into its second year. The respondents, who are mostly locals, were asked if Singaporeans are gracious in six areas “ including behaviour on public transport, at work and while driving. There was an improvement in about half of these behavioural traits and a drop in the other half, compared to the results last year. One particular area of improvement is the clearing of plates and trays after meals. According to the Kindness Movement, more people seem to be doing so — from 7

At 8.30pm on 27 March, lights went out from Asia Pacific to Europe and Africa to the Americas as people from across the world joined together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common - our planet. Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, the Las Vegas Strip, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Beijing's Forbidden City were among more than 1500 iconic landmarks that switched off to show their support. A record 128 countries and territories joined the global display of action for Earth Hour 2010, making it the world's largest ever global climate change initiative. We want to thank you for contributing to this historic achievement. If you missed any of the action from the night then go to earthhour.org to check out the inspiring photos and videos. Books in need...

Does anyone have any novel that are trying to get rid off? Can I have them? I will pay a sum for it. I need books to add up to my collection. The new books are too expensive. Anyone?

Not good at all...

This is not going to be any good for me... Luckily I have decided to quit or else I wonder what I will be facing in the future... Things are too hectic. Hell, this is bad...

TNB to sue WWF....because they cause them losing money

Image
26 March 2010 KUALA LUMPUR   Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Malaysias premier energy provider today announced that they were taking legal action against the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) for organising the Earth Hour, a global movement that makes a stand against climate change by turning off all non-essential lights and electrical equipment for an hour every year. In a Press conference, TNB president and CEO Dato Sri Che Khalib Mohd Noh said that the annual worldwide symbolic gesture, which this year would be observed this Saturday at 8.30pm, is nothing more than an arrogant and thoughtless viral movement aimed to hurt power companies such as TNB. "Obviously these green-minded fellows think they're really cute, organising such an irresponsible campaign," said Che Khalib angrily. "They say turn off your lights for an hour and people do. I bet that really makes them feel all powerful. What these western colonialists fail to grasp is how such drastic

waiting...

Here I am waiting for a miracle to happen in my life... I have resigned, and I'm waiting for a new job or even a chance to get into USM to further my study. I can't wait until May to know what I'm going to do with my future. There are a lot of uncertainty that I'm facing right now. To do or not to do... A lot have been going through my mind lately. Am I a loser? Can't I take up challenge or even tolerate some pressures? Am I that impatience? Am I not good enough?!!! I know I'm not suppose to look down upon myself but these questions keep turning on in my mind. I can't control my mind. Maybe because I have keep thinking nonsense since I'm at the very young age (if I could remember when). This kind of habit is not a very good thing to me now. Most of the time I keep forgetting things. I was not like that. I'm like having short term memory. Great! Another BAD image of me. I really need to take a break. I'm getting a break down soon if I don

Earth Hour 2010

Image
Last year I have mentioned about the Earth Hour and requesting that we should do our share. Well, I did not so my share last year because I have totally forgot about it. This year, tomorrow, will have another round of Earth Hour from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. I will not ever again forget to switch off unnecessary light and electric power. I will definitely do my part to save the earth. Let us all do the same...

Back again...

11 months on... And I'm finally back to blogging. I guess there won't be anyone viewing my blog anyway besides my avid reader, my dear Howe. Thanks for the support all these time. Why I come back? Because, soon I will have more time to blog (I think). My hectic job has taken back a lot of my time and I am too stressed to think what to write. How I wish I can get a free-and-easy job. Haha... In my dreams... Anyway, now that I'm back, I will think of things to write....
