13 hours waiting

Another long hours of waiting to go home...and I can't wait to be back home. 40 hours and I only slept for less than 10 hours. I miss my bed...oh my bed, my pillow, my blanket, and my baby pillow. NO...my baby pillow is not those smelly, full of saliva, kind of pillow. My baby pillow is new.... Anyway, not writing this to talk about my pillow. For the past 3 weeks, traveling half the globe, experiencing new things, it's AWESOME!! Although, I would say I don't see much there, at least it's something I won't forget. I will definitely going to the States again but of course not anytime soon. It may be 10 years later or more, or maybe near. The Flight 8 changes of flight to and fro. 40 plus hours of total flight . What do you think? The Weather When I first reach LA, I was like...oh no...why is this place so cold. I was shivering all the way from International terminal to another terminal where I have to wait for my other flight. Before we head to U

Going home soon...

...and it's very soon. After 2 and a half weeks of staying in the States, when I finally able to enjoy more at San Jose, I have to go home. Too soon, but the whole journey was incredibly relaxing for me. At least I got to run away from the hustle rustle of my job. Although it will be a long break soon, at least now I'm not working. Too much problem occur and it's someone I don't want to handle right now. I'm too stress and my gray hair are countless right now. Anyway, the weather here is nice with a bit of icy wind piercing through my skin. But it's very nice. Next time I travel long distance, I want to experience snow though I can't imagine how I will survive. My lips chipped, skin too dry, and I'm in a mess. I can't wait to go home too. Can't wait to meet baby Yi Xuan and her brother (lil brat) Kai Xuan. But on my job.......

Delayed!

Here I am at Denver, Seattle airport on my transit to San Jose and my flight is delayed! It's 8.10pm. It's already late to reach there and I have to be delayed again. Of my whole tripped here, this is the first time I'm being delayed after a few flights and transits. I have waited 10-12 hours of waiting, and going to have another 13 hours of waiting for each transit flights. Most people will definitely feel it's tiring. Well, it's not for me but it's definitely boring. Slept in airport terminal over-day and overnight, it's one good experience. The world is not that scary after all. I can go on backpacking (if I have the cash flow) ;) Austin temperature: 29 degree C Denver temperature: 20 degree C San Jose temperature: 14 degree C !!! Ok. I'm going to experience some cold shock when I arrive San Jose later. When I was in LA on the first night I reach USA, the temperature was 13 degree C! I was not prepared for it and I only had a T shirt, a sweater

Are we Malaysians really that friendly?

When I was in my transit to LA from Bangkok, I met a guy from Afghanistan. Well, we talked we asked bout where we are from then he said he knew a few friends from Malaysia as well. He said his friends were nice, Malaysians are very nice. Then I said: 'So you think Malaysians are friendly?' 'Ya, how did you know?' 'Well, because I have heard people talking about it.' But how come me, as a Malaysian did not feel the same? I think I know why. Let me tell you. Did you notice that whenever we queue up at any counter to pay out items (food, groceries, anything) have we ever hear the cashier said 'Hello, how are you?'. We could hardly get any smile too. What happened to the 'SMILE WHEN YOU SERVE' campaign gone? It was just a momentary thing. Nowadays I always see sour face around. Well, I wouldn't say EVERY cashier is like that, some are, I appreciated them, friendly and with courtesy to serve. But how many do we actually see this? I wa
