Langkawi

Last Monday, I just came back from a 3D 2N trip to Langkawi. During our trip, there are certain encounters that were not pleasant but overall, it was a fine trip. We did not take the opportunity to go island hopping. We stay in Langkawi for the whole 3 days and we just went to a few places.

Day 1

Our first stop after registered ourselves in the hotel we were staying, The Underwater World.

Introducing... the penguins...

...and the Rockhopper.
Two Rockhopper where kissing while the other watching (what a lamp post :P)

...the unusual mushroom jellyfish...

...the zebra eel on the right and snowflake moray eel on the left...

"Pinocchio fish" according to Howe

And the corals.

After leaving The Underwater World, we took a stroll along Pantai Cenang and I same across the bookstore that I saw in the net selling books. I bought 2 books, Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella and Thanks For The Memories by Cecelia Ahern. I finished the first book at the end of the trip before leaving Langkawi. ;)

Day 2

When we woke up, it was drizzling out there. It was kind of dissappointed because we have planned to go to Gunung Mat Cinchang to get on the cable car. We decided to go afterall despite the rain and the moist on the hill. When we reached there, the cable car was closed. So stayed on for a while till it was on service and we get to go up to the gunung.

We did not manage to walk on the arced bridge because it was closed due to bad weather. Bad timing to get there. Should have get there in the evening to watch sunset instead.

The rest of the day, we were traveling and going nowhere. Just went shopping for chocolates, liquors (for me) and cigarettes (for Howe's parents). After that, we went back to hotel, take a nap and spent the evening by the beach watching the sunset.

Day 3

We waited until 11.45am to check out and return the rented car. We spent the rest of the day at Jetty Point playing sipping coffee at Starbucks, eating nasi kandar, buying more chocolates (it's expensive there), playing bowling and get back to Starbucks to play Jenga while waiting for our 5.15pm ferry.
